The purpose of the referees’ collaboration is to enable the selection of the best manuscripts for publication and to ensure that the monograph or full papers presents significant new materials or results, which are of high quality and scientific interest, adequately documented with tabulations, graphs, drawings and photographs, if necessary, considering also their exposition, in Italian or English, but always in a good form and corresponding to the specific scientific register adopted. Those wishing to put themselves forward for scientific review work are invited to apply to the Editorial Board (redazione@thiasos.eu) and download the rules for referees and the template of the evaluation procedure.

.

All articles that reach the Editorial Board are sent to referees. The referees are asked to send their feedback to the Editorial Board as soon as possible. Once all the referees send the responses, the Editorial Board evaluate them and decide whether and how to accept the article. The reviews are then sent not only to the author, but also to the other referee, anonymously, so that each referee can compare his or her review with that of the other. It is understood that referees do this work voluntarily, without reward of any kind from the Journal. In a special section on the website, the journal formally thanks all referees and their names are published in alphabetical order.
